My First Merit Print

Hello everyone! I have exciting news. I have spent the last several days at the Florida Professional Photographers Convention in Orlando. It was fantastic. There were some amazing speakers from all over the country. I learned so much and got tons of great new ideas for my business. They have a large print competition (over 400 entries). I decided to give it a shot for the first time and I am happy to announce that I got my first merit!!! Woohoo! I was so excited. It is a true honor. The judging is tough. I definitely think that entering competition teaches you so much and that it makes you a much better photographer. I looked at it as a learning experience & I definitely learned!
